I got the LD5 fuge off Amazon, same as the one linked but it holds 8 test tubes insread of 6

I have noticed that just like making candy that there is a difference in rapid and gradual temp changes for product finishing, really determines the final product in my opinion.

More than one CBD isolate lab has had an incident with pentane. Low BP, high vapor pressure. Nice and flammable…

to make shatter? idk adding hte to shatter will probably make it sugar up unless u just lightly paint the shatter w the hte(then it still may sugar up due to the terps actin as solvent)

Will it sugar up with regular cana terps ?
I like sugar on blunts a lot more than shatter so looking for a way to speed it up

No you need to use a non polar hydrocarbon.
Butane, pentane, heptane.

Redissolve your shatter in butane, once purged cap it and let your rocks grow.
Put the shatter, breaking it up as u go, into a jar and put 150-200g butane.
If it doesn’t dissolve add more butane,
When it’s purged, cap the jar and put it away.
You mean when it’s thickened. Def want some butane in there still to help with crystallization

They right butane makes way easier. But 2oz the hte to 2oz shatter or less shatter. Ur gone have to disrespect this hte by getting so hot it’ll fully dissolve the shatter. When its all liquid seal the jar.i would not go over 130f to 160f to not decarb the thca. And fast. When you seal the jar set on 90f it should melt the rest if enough hte
Although small amount butane added to this would make this much easier. Add 1/3 tane wait till slow moving bubbles seal jar

Looks like it will budder up without any tane probably due to not extracting cold enough. It still may sugar up on u though. Keep it warm dont open for few days
How much hte did u add and shatter?

I didn’t have enough as what you said so just decided to run with what I had 28g shatter 15g HTE. I don’t have a pic of it before but here is where I am at now. Has been between 90-95f for a few hours.

Looking better keep it warm leave it sealed… a glass shatter would be more ideal and super thin at room temp terps(hte) would be best for this. Looks like it will sugar if all goes right
