Happy Tuesday. There are multiple ways to pull terps before thc extraction. Steam is the most common.
I feel that if you take your time and don’t rush you can keep 90% of your turp profile with simple SOP’S and the correct equipment.

It’s you do a cls, you pour that into a (mixing vessel of choice for this example I’ll say jar) jar, you take that jar and you do a no heat full - 30hg purge and then right away let it out, add ethanol to the jar shake it till its emulsified. Now take that emulsified mixture and use that to extract whole nug material that is fresh.

Filter once with a buchner, filter a second time with a buchner. Both times no media, you should have yellow.

Roto at 30°c and then purge for a few days @ 86. 6°f and bam high terpene extract.

You’re washing whole nug with an emulsified mixture. This in every experience and experiment has always yielded a super tasty and super potent concentrate.

Call my tek shit all you want but if you never try it then you’ll never know.

You guys have extracted every which way, with almost every single solvent to your disposal. Well… Try extracting like that and tell me what’s up.
