How much distillate yield off of 10-12% biomass

Hi.
I’m curious what one would yield on average from ethanol wash and distillation based off of thc trim/biomass of say 10-12% ?
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Thanks all!

Something on the order of input mass * .6 on 10% material. Others may have differing results.

I figure around 40-50lbs per kg of Disty. Your mileage may very.

My math says 2.7-3.0L per 100#

100(.10)448/1000.60

Where 10 percent is potency and yield to disty is 60% from crude.

Oops- that was from decarbed crude, not raw biomass. I use a 5% extraction loss, so 100 lbs of biomass x .10 for the potency x .95 for extraction loss x .87 for decarb loss x .60 losses to distillate = yield.

25# should yield 900ml etoh crude (winterized, purged and decarbd) ready for spd. 75% can be 1st pass 91%+ distillate. Those are my usual numbers.

We just processed 20000lbs of 10-12% this season and yielded 9% return. It took 25lbs to make a kilo of crude. This was of lifter though. The stormy Daniel’s was same percentage and it took 30lbs to 1 kilo of crude.

My rule of thumb is 50lbs of 10% biomass to yield a liter of first pass distillate (I usually yield a liter of winterized and decarbed crude for every 30lbs of 10% biomass so it takes 1.66l crude to yield 1l distillate with 60-65% return to distillate with spd)
