I believe most terps have a density of .87g/ml

Many do, but isolates can range quite a lot. Our blends tend to be closer on average to 0.87 g/mL. For example, myrcene ranges from about 0.7900 to 0.8050 g/mL and Eugenol ranges from about 1.0640 to 1.0700 g/mL.

grams do not equal milliliters.
gram = weight, ml = volume.
2 different measurements. Kind of like how we can measure temp and humidity, and while the 2 may be related, they are not the same.
How many grams of a particular substance it takes to fill a L will depend on the density of the particular chemical or blend, as florplex points out.

trying to flavor a gram will probably turn out strong no matter what you do i.m.e
better to try at least 10 at a time seems to be a real empty kinda taste when it’s done small amounts but I’d say heat it up In a dab jar and barely add a drop then dab it to test …but it will taste stronger on a nail also…what’s to lose?
