Good customers send a semi-coherent email asking for testing details.
Normal customers call in and have a long ramble at you before you can get out of them wtf they want.
Shitty customers show up at your lab door holding a whole fucking weed plant and pound on your door demanding testing.
In no scenario does anything the customer type up get into a fucking lims! That’s asking for trouble.

From what I’ve seen, the client creates a manifest in Metrc or BioTrack for the lab. Then the lab goes onto Metrc / BioTrack and accepts the manifest transfer. From there you can work in a LIMS and upload final results back onto Metrc / BioTrack. Confident Cannabis is a LIMS that I know works with Metrc but I also know there are a couple others that work well with Metrc. For BioTrack I’m not sure what LIMS systems are compatible.
