Honey Stick Machine or company needed

Does anyone have connections or supplier on a honey stick filling machine?
Plastic straws only, no sachets.

We have been using a company in Oregon but it’s so expensive to ship back and forth + they charge extra because it’s cbd…

I found a machine for $15,000 that does plastic straws. Any alternatives?

What sort of through-put do you need?

One person and a very rudimentary manifold can manage ~100/hr.

@VapeJet might be looking for a new project. The heat sealing adds a twist not seen with a cart or syringe filler, but it doesn’t seem too hard.

Do you know how to infuse honey with CBD?
Filling the straws is not that bad, but it’s not by HAND. :joy:

I think I’ve posted links to a manifold around here somewhere. What are you using?!?

We used to give the THC the ones away as advertising.

Edit: quick search suggests I’m hallucinating again…

The machine you just linked is horrible and I would never recommend anyone to use it. We used that and ended up throwing it in the trash. You can’t build a brand with that.

Any cheaper alternatives than this?

  • Short aspiration needle 0.5ml/0.25ml
  • Unplugged, clear 0.5ml straws
  • Long needle 0.5ml/0.25ml
  • Plastic plug 0.5ml/0.25ml
  • Tapered dish for semen
  • Clear flexible tubing

Building a brand on what?!?

Edit: looks pretty legit. Forgot about the scale factor between CBD and THC honey sticks for a sec. the “easy cleanup” looked a little awkward, and might get old fast.

I must be getting old. Honey Stick? The healing properties of Honey have been known for centuries. Then add CBD and/or THC to honey? Mind starting to race. I love it, honey that is. I’m always looking for different ways to use cbd/d8thc. Sounds like a late night project in the works. Thanks Honey…

Have at it sweetie

5-100mg Cannabinoids in 3-5ml honey. Served in a sealed straw. One of the easiest edible delivery systems out there. Not quite as easy to implement as tincture in a bottle, but arguably more convenient for the end user.

Had some habanero infused honey that made divine 20-100mg straws. Perfect for glazing those chicken breasts.

Last batch of honey sticks I made were problematic…client couldn’t stop eating them

He was supposed to be handing them to dispensaries to drum up business…

What about a condiment dispenser like I’ve seen people on here use for gummies? Wouldn’t be an automated machine but sure you could get a decent amount done this way. I’ve been down the honey straw machine rabbit hole a couple of times as well. Seems like it would turn into a sticky mess easily

are there any crystallization issues using pure unprocessed honey?

I’ve only noticed it after about 6-8 months in jar, the top will make a rim of tiny formations, that’s about it in my experience.

(Typically a lot lighter in color but the person who I had oversee this batch went high the entire infusion, not low.) :man_facepalming:t3:

Just finished this batch off too, all will go to those in need that use for teas etc.

We’ve been making cbd honey with a local California organic farm since 2018. We like to use 1:1 ratio of mct/cbd oil in 1lb jars, but honey sticks are a little different.

Oregon company charges 250$ for a 5lb bucket (4500 sticks) but if you add cbd they charge 900. We have sent several gallons so the 15k machine would have made sense from the start.

Edit: if we buy the machine anyone need sticks?
