Homogenizer temp settings

Ive dumped 25c terps into 100c distillate, and I still cannot figure out why my hte pens are better than everyone elses. Imma have one of the smurfs pick up some of your carts to test. I am always trying to be the best, the best that ever was, so trying vapes is my real test, since I’m training just because!

My smurfs travel across the land, searching far and wide. Each 510 to understand the power that’s inside!

Most of them fucking suck so true, my desire will pull me thru. You teach me and I teach you, its vape cart world!

Check out the Prism line, some is HTE terps and some are distilled, if you wanna know what’s what just shoot me a DM. Depends on the batch but it’s all fire imo.

Thanks for sharing.

Im skeptical of these cheaper “solder mixer” centrifuges, seems like they must have less capability vs the regular, higher priced units. So until someone can confirm good homogenization with a solder mixer Im still leaning towards the x1000, dangit. Seems crazy there isnt more competition and that CAT is the only good option!

Im going to be mixing HTE not distilled terps, not sure which one mixes easier, but Im probably going to use a 10% or 15% ratio.

*The solder fuges, might be a good option for jar sized crystal separation!

Glad you asked, I was interested too. I just ordered one from @goldleaf_scientific last week, can’t wait to get it.

For people who have one, would it make sense to heat the shaft in an oven prior to mixing? I figured a cold shaft would cool the oil and wouldn’t mix as well at first.

Also I remember reading @qma suggesting to switch out o rings for ptfe ones, I believe, idk, I was super high and can’t find the post again.

I plan on using mine for edibles as well, didn’t gummies clog a shaft one time?

Homogenizer sounds like a pain in the ass to me. Already have too much shit going on at once to deal with cleaning a stator

You purchased a device from @goldleaf_scientific and Ryan can’t answer your two simple processing questions? Nice!!!

Just a heads up, the factory is on vacation until January, 2021! The factory probably won’t ship to @goldleaf_scientific until the end of January or February, 2021. Given @goldleaf_scientific doesn’t have any inventory, if you paid Ryan upfront for the homogenizer or gave him a deposit be sure he issues you a refund. Ryan shouldn’t charge your credit card until he ships the device to you.

When your homogenizer breaks, your only hope is going to be the folks on futrue4200 because Ryan has never operated or owned a CAT Homogenizer. He can’t help you, he’s just an order taker. Hey, would you like fries with that?

Never said Ryan couldn’t answer the question, I never bothered to ask him…

Appreciate the heads up about the factory being closed until January, but I’m not trying to get involved in your drama. I don’t quite understand why you’re so heated over Ryan becoming a distributor. From what I’ve read people had a difficult time ordering from you.

I ordered from goldleaf because he’s the only us distributor and his prices are much better then rose scientific in Canada.

If you’re able, can you share the unit you are using, or the rotation and revolution rpm’s that the machine is capable of producing?

Thanks!

Can’t share the unit, maxes at 1700 rpm.

etoh, depending on what your doing it can be rather clean, just rinse with wash bottle and done.
heavier cleaning may require disassembly and scrubbing.

Def game changing machines. Not just for the mixing, but the purging too.

These guys are on point:

Fwiw, a few years ago their DAC-150 unit was around $9500, their smallest unit. But 3500rpm

I have also come across, Dental Alginate Mixers, which I havent confirmed if they are planetary/dual axis type mixer, but they seem to be. They advertise higher rpms in the 3000+range. They are all over ebay and amazon for around $700-$1000

if i was gonna buy a cheaper ebay version which one would u get

bc im doing 100 carts at time all sudden and it tskes min to get mixed up w hot plate mag stirrer

Im going to wait and see if I can confirm the revolution rpm’s on the dental units, if they are actually 2000+ vs the 400 on the solder units Id be opting for them. The difference between these cheap units and the pro ones could be as vast as not working at all, its pure guinea pig territory.

Good thread on the SpeedyMixers: Speedmixer use in cannabis?
