Primary extraction method will be Supercritical CO2. The company has an Apeks 20Lx5L 2000psi bambino.
Also the candidate should be familiar with the pre and post processing associated with SC-CO2 extraction (winterization, use of rotovap, etc.) as well as wiped film vacuum distillation
Responsibilities:
- SC-CO2 production (running APEKS, maintaining and cleaning equipment, etc.)
- Post processing of oil (winterization, etc.)
- Vacuum distillation of crude oil (wiped film)
- Writing and maintaining SOPs for various aspects of production
- Required to follow all industry regulations
- Keeping lab space clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Passionate & Driven
- Experience operating SC-CO2 extraction equipment (APEKS experience a MAJOR plus)
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelors or higher a plus)
- Degree in Chemistry Major Plus
- Proven to be 21+ years of age w/ valid ID
- Quick learner and ability to think quick on your feet
- METRC experience is a plus
- Open availability
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficiency in general computer skills (Google Sheets/Drive experience a plus)
- Outstanding organizational skills / attention to details
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to calculate basic equations
