The one that heats the plastic isn’t mine.

What’s are your fillers made out of?

Specifically the barrel, gaskets, and metal that touches the product

The oil cylinder is PSU material, the heating rod is stainless steel, and the silica is also food grade, which is very healthy and can be used for a long time before -100~175℃

PLASTIC SYRINGE TUBE!!! get that cheap ass allflex syringe outta here. no one likes petrochemicals leaching into their heated terpene mixtures. your syringe tube is not designed for terpene mixtures! IT WILL LEACH PETROCHEMICAL BYPRODUCTS INTO THE OIL.

Kind of a shame that the barrel has limited resistance to isopropanol considering it’s a common way to clean up

Per Allflex these amber colored barrels are made from Lexan Polycarbonate

not a good design for heating and using terpene mixtures. they are autoclavable but whats not talked about is the leaching of petrochemicals into the feed stock when the barrel is heated. just because its autoclavable doesnt mean its meant to have food grade feed stock pass through it while its being heated.

Thank you very much for the advice, but I recommend cleaning with rubbing alcohol and water instead of isopropyl, as isopropanol is toxic and not edible.

Rubbing alcohol = isopropanol

I’m sorry, maybe it was a translation error, but I meant alcohol, drinkable alcohol.
