Hemp flower quality - - expectations vs reality EU vs US

I’ve been around the hemp market for a while and have a pretty clear expectation of what I’d consider good flower quality structure, finish, and aroma.

Looking at most EU material (including Switzerland), that level is rarely met in my experience. Compared to what has come out of the US over the years, the gap still feels real. In the US, it often doesn’t make sense commercially to grow it, yet quality is high , in the EU, it’s the opposite, which is a bit puzzling.

I might be missing certain growers or markets though.

If anyone has examples of hemp flowers grown or sourced that genuinely meet a higher standard, feel free to post them.

For retail and small amounts, the only eu vendor of flowers which are smokeable i found is the spanished based https://theimperiumcbd.com/

Their 24k is really good. And ive tried really, really many vendors in EU. Previously the none-washed flowers (none eu compliant) from Switzerland where the go to. They dosnt seem to be much around anymore. I suspect the Imperium flowers really isnt compliant either tbh.

The EU market is just sad in general with current laws.

Edit: their amnesia and northern light were great to. Their best seller Auhuasca purple were really disappointing.
