Hemp CBD organic processing certification

Does anyone have experience with getting organic certified as a processor - like is this state certification or do you go thru another governing body? I’m in NorthCarolina and interested in extracting organic hemp to make organic CBD crude and distillate. Any info would be appreciated…thanks

You go through the USDA- NOP (national organic program) certifies the CBs (certifying bodies like Oregon tilth, MOSA, OCIA, etc)
that you hire to come in and perform the certification process- MOSA and Oregon Tilth are highly recommended- these companies are not only national, they work all over the world doing organic certs)

HMU my mom is an IOIA certified processing inspector and is a private contractor who inspects supplements and skincare companies paperwork to make sure they ain’t cheating

Rowan is exactly right. We used a certified company and actually a consultant too. It made the process much easier and quicker. The main this they are going to look at is your tracking and evidence systems / procedures.
