Sure I guess you could in theory recarboxylate it but you get my general meaning haha.
No its not distillate is distilled which is why its called DISTILLate
And also broad spectrum usually
This is not
2 totally different things
So if you melt diamonds into a liquid and decarb them (which is what was done above) its not a liquid diamond? I mean diamonds are thca so why wouldnt it be called a liquid diamond if its melted into a liquid from a diamond? If you dont decarb the thca its not going to stay a liquidā¦ i think the term fits itself well. When you say d9thc most people would think of distillate which this is not
The same applies for the term āisolateā, your crystal structure will never be 100% pure but we still call it isolate. You cant really call this distillate as its definitely not distillate since its not distilled
Pretty sure this is one of the things willbilly patented wasnt it? I thought i saw something in the bho patent thread about melting thca to add colors and flavors and such
As distillate. Like distillate. Same content as distillate. Not a definite more like when someone says ālikeā something. Thatās what it means.
If itās pure crystals itās not broad anything. And broad spectrum is just a go to buzz word for lazy made rso product. If you have terp slurp in a vessel and you decarb it, itās still destroying terps and contents like waxes, fags, lipids etc. I see where youāre going with that, but then itās compatible to nothing but baked out decarb rso style product or etho style product.
@Lightbulb is awfully obsessed over distillate and the equipment used to make it for someone who clearly isnāt @spdking
ā¦and back into the shadows.
Kinda like how people call it liquid diamonds which would be even more fitting than calling it ālike distillateā
None of the diamonds or isolate on the market are pure though which is the pointā¦
So it is broad spectrum because theres more than 1 cannabinoid in it.
Have you ever tested isolate on an MS?
I have and it was definitely broad spec
So explain how this wouldnt be broad spectrum?
On hplc this isolate tested under .3% d9 but on ms it tested at .46% d9 which isnt compliant even though its 99.4% pure
Were not talking about āterp slurp in a vesselā were talking about decarbing diamonds after crystallization which would have the āterp slurpā or hte layer removed
Actually we have a product called unicorn tears alsoš¤£
Im
Going to skip over the last 15 messages of yāall arguing about liquid diamonds and leave this here for a good laugh.
Like distillate has a better ring.
Not as far as consumer perception goes
Moral of the story is, itās not that serious. Does anyone have anything beneficial to say about decarb diamonds? Does anyone need help? Thatās the question and answer in this thread.
Everyone knows itās Active D9 thatās the whole point of this thread.
Diamonds are thca but not all thca is diamonds, especially not the stuff typically decarbed for D9 THC
So keep confusing consumers then right.
I think calling decarbed THCa distillate would be more confusing than calling it liquid diamonds
if i had 50 patents for distillate products iād want it to be under the same term too
