Help me pick a used homogenizer

I am in the market for a homogenizer. Everyone says the ebay ones suck. Ive been looking at used polytron pt2100s and they seem good for what i want. The thing thats stopping me is idk if the bit or shaft or whatever its called is the right one for my application. Making thc syrup.

The Generator shafts shown for all three devices are Knife Generators. They are employed for fibrous medial like lung tissue. Not a good choice for processing syrups.

i have the x1000 i would consider 1000ml close to the limit for it. I do 2000ml but I have to use a very wide 5L beaker

their recommendations are for the viscosity of water! They forget to mention that when youre sending the check! haha just kidding love my x1000

I also had to buy this style beaker to do smaller amounts regular beaker is too shallow for something around 200ml

Appreciate you my bro. :100:

Thanks for the tip. We really want one of your guys. The one you quoted us for yesterday. Funds are just not allowing at this time. Still going to try.

So you using the 1000 for the agave? Thats literally why i nade this thread was for your recipe (and other projects) but yours mainly. I want to do 1000ml.

Yes I am using this.

if you are set on making water and oil infusions I would consider hiring a consultant for your recipes.

like buy the recipes not just the knowledge. I have given up on the oil and water infusions which is why I shared all info and the label design for free

it is possible but difficult and once I got into the emulsifiers they tasted so bad I gave up

fair warning

Here’s a video on the interchangeable (Rotors-Stators) tips: https://catscientific.com/video-how-to-change-homogenizer-generators/

So will your generator shaft fit one of these units? Just curious.
