Helium Assist?

So some silly jerk knocked over a nitrogen tank, busted the regulator, and as a result the nitrogen slowly leaked out overnight. We can’t get more until Monday.

Obviously we could use propane as a pressure assist since we have plenty, but obviously that comes with its own issues. I have used argon successfully in the past, but has anyone ever tried helium? It’s a noble gas with an extremely low boiling point. Is the only downside the expense?

what are you assisting? pressure ratings? explosive?

Helium will work just as well as nitrogen, just much more expensive.

Got any tips for argon or is it no different than nitrogen for a push?

No noticeable difference other than the price. Send it.

Argon is more difficult to remove from the system. Idk how that matters tbh since it won’t mix.
