Heat Mantle Auto Settings

I’m running a 5L Joanlab Short Path I have a great pump pulling 1 micron no leaks in my system iv tripled checked I have about a liter of crude in my system - I make my own crude so I know it’s good yes I have a Roto -

I have two mantels that seem to have auto programming on the heat they both do not get hot enough and stick at about 175/190c

Question 1. Is there a way to take them off auto program ?

  1. Does anyone have a clue why I can’t get past that heat I am enclosing a few pictures for suggestions. Thanks

What exactly do you mean auto program… what is it auto-doing?

The Joan lab mantles are pretty simple. Set your set value /desires temp… watch it rise to said temp. Unless of course I’m Misintepreting your question

I’m referring too when you plug them in and set the temperature it Will slowly clime a bit sit go down some go back up some and cap out at 1/8/195 And that’s it - Both of mine have what seems to be an auto temperature program. As crazy as that sounds

Hmmm. For what it’s worth, Joan lab is the cheapest shit equipment so it could just be a defect somewhere.

And don’t take that as an insult, I’m rockin the joan too😂

Check your voltage on the mantel and socket
110 v maxes out around that temp and 220V around 380 C
So if the mantel is made for 220 V but connected to a 110 V socket it only works 1/2 the power it should
