So I had a pretty bad month last month and it’s time to start moving forward with it -
My long time friend and glass collector passed away last month and his mother has reached out to me to help her liquidate it for fair value. The problem is I know nothing about heady glass because I never partook since I can’t seem to keep rigs for more than 6 months. He’s got some nice stuff and some of it comes with crates.
I know the glass market has been up and down. Can anyone help me identify what to expect on some of these pieces when I send them to auction?
Is there anything here that is desirable to you guys? I might want to buy something myself to keep in my safe. Other than that I’m not making anything on this, I’d actually have the payments go directly to his family.

Sadly not worth much now. Carlson jones pieces were very collectible back in the day and cost a free racks ea but even highly collectible glass that still has collectors moves for less than half of retail. Sorry to hear about your friend.

My glassblower buddy burned it all off for me in his Kiln.
The proxy itself is quite nice and comparable in function to the newer peaks, I just can’t help but feel it’s some sort of novelty.

I know that everything dropped severely bc he would talk about it sometimes, I didn’t listen too closely bc again jt wasn’t my thing but he did say the bottom fell out of the value and it wasn’t worth it for him to sell. Would you say these are under $1000 at this point?
Thank you for that as well. He was super into BJJ and was a big part of that community as well. When I get back from Denver Cannacon I’ll get a list together with each piece and their accessories/crates.
