If you can license it, it’s not fair use. Not in your use case

Again if you knew what you were talking about you wouldn’t be making soft narratives to support your failed claims.

I don’t claim to know what I’m talking about. Just saying what it looks like.

There is no narratives or soft whatever…: :joy::rofl:

I feel like you fish random screens you find that aren’t even in the same context of use and sorta like push it.

First of all nothing we’ve done is infringement, the art actually does belong to the artist :sunglasses:. Secondly you would have to profit from resale of said art and furthermore it has to be a exact copy (example would be copying a image from a series or publication used for royalties or profits and then useage of such content for personal gain or profits). Third the parent companies must have proof of such profits and assign legitimate litigious damages behind/after litigation fees. Furthermore any art designed or produce by the original artist of any sort of nature from scratch actually belongs to said person especially if it’s not directive to industry useage in marketing, sales, promotions with profits for personal gain for the furtherance of profiting off a brand exclusively. We do not charge for keepsakes. They are handed out at shows, thrown into bags with shirts etc, and they are used exclusively in a parody fashion with zero financial gain or relative connection to th brick and morty series. The artist who made these images owns the artwork and therefore because myself or my company would have to unequivocally qualify under the dozens of legal routes as infringement to become infringement. We do not classify under said routes or mapping for either profits or even remote litigation of said useage of the rock and morty. Infringement on said art would have to be in duplicate and I would have to be selling t shirts in a marketplace or keychains etc, that competes in said marketplace with either the parent owner of the duplicated content or licensed users who compete Inna arena for profitability of purchased licenses for content reproduction. Otherwise you cannot infringe on such a product if you aren’t infringing in general. There’s probably a dozen more legal case law and general info that I don’t need to mention that surrounds parody art and even paid promotions that would and could infringe(example if I took credit to ownership of someone else’s art and made a tv commercial that competes in said same markets).

We’ve never copy and pasted content and we’ve never ripped off someone’s art. The art we use actually belongs to the artist. And is legal in useage and does not cause market infringement of anyone’s characters.

This is why Mickey Mouse is on the promotional flyers for all the strip clubs in Orlando!

You see you learn something everyday. You can just draw any cartoon and use it for promotional purposes!

I know someone who received a cease and decist notification from Hanna Barbera reps for selling Fruity Pebbles CBD vapes. I know HB is not in the vape business.

So if I release my self feeding hacksum filter we won’t have an issue since it’s not an exact copy. If I hand them out for free it sounds like I’m good for sure.

He was selling and not using for promotion. You need to have Mickey getting a lap dance from a stripper and say it’s mickey’s favorite strip club.

Which Mickey. Mickeys malt liquor. Who knows? Lol

Talks about all of the people that rip off his designs and reproduces them, but rips off a couple of cartoon characters to make his stuff more ā€œcoolā€ā€¦ ā€œHey, it’s perfectly legal because I’m not making any money from it!ā€
BUT, the part we’re not told is exactly how much you have to spend in order to get your ā€œfreeā€ piece of ripped off character promotion…
(I know I probably shouldn’t post this, but the hypocrisy has become just too much for me to not say something…)

I think the irony is Htking is an American and blantenly rips off the kings designs. I hear this person is an Asian but lives here in San Fran. Sounds like they are setting up close to the king
