agreed on the “lying gauge”. that happens**. and should always be considered as a possibility. but -20C and 25C don’t look alike even to the untrained eye :wink:

** boss got lucky once upon a time. 30/30 gauge said zero. it had wrapped around. clamp he removed was above his head so it missed him.

Then as @cyclopath says, you’ve probably introduced atmosphere into your system at some point.

Chill solvent to lowest possible temperature and vent off additional power in a safe location with no electrical that isn’t explosion proof.

My suggestion is to vent through a port you can attach a long hose to so any gas leaving the system is vented to a safe area.
