So I just spent $13k on this grinder by STM and received it today and it’s backwards completely and all screwed up but the company tells me there’s nothing wrong with it and that’s the actual design! Even though EVERY SINGLE MARKETING PIECE THEY USE IS OPPOSITE! Absolutely the worst design for user friendliness and it’s not even the same product I was shown and told I was buying. This can’t even be used in my facility now. Thoughts on how to resolve the issue with STM? And has anyone else had this issue with them?
Did you test drive it?
Oh the humanity!!!
wow - did u call the Rep ?
Not yet, other than it not being built correctly I’ve gotta believe it functions as well as they say it does
Oh yeah they said that’s how it’s designed and the marketing material is all wrong lol. WTF
Yah… That’s pretty common on a first run of a product getting to market.
You can almost feel the panic between the sales, marketing, and engineering depts. With some overconfident CEO just yelling “make it work” “we need to recoup cash” etc.
Its always the guy that only cares about numbers saying “make it work”. Thats my activation phrase for quitting a job
I used to put people on the “midz only” list if they used the phrase “asap” to me on a delivery. Maybe bossman told them to hurry up and the minions got pissed.
It looks like they figured out you would need to be standing in the ground material bin to access the touch screen, so they moved it.
Seems like a better design.
Why is it unusable in this configuration? Did you plan on having it against a wall or something?
Why does it need a touch screen? What kind of configuration can you do? Particle size? Or is that done by switching out screens?
The website only says this
Touch Screen Control for ease of use with low, medium and high settings as well as a quick pulse setting which can help to clear any debris.
Looks like the current product page has updated pictures.
