Green cbd distillate???

Can anyone tell me why it’s green in color???

cbd distillation we pulled a lot water out of the crude and the terpene catch is also a darker green is this chlorophyll?? Or terp? It’s inside my distillate and yes it’s first pass. I have never seen this before wondering if anyone else has it happens in a 12 l short path

Here is the terpene ball

didn’t get cbd fraction until I hit almost 170°

I would says its chylorphyl.

What were your parameters?
Boimass quality?

Hmm, my Terpenes look nothing like that. How was it extracted?

Co2 extraction then ethanol bkd (breakdown)

Co2 pulls lots of nasties

Did you winterize before spd?

Biomass was a12% cbd barely any moisture was in the product… are you wanting to know the distillation parameters?

Yes
Sv, mv, hv, vac depth

Any winterizing done?

Chlorophyll should stay in the boiling flask. It turns brown well before fractions start coming off anyway. That’s gotta be something else.

Ethanol breakdown 14 hour winterization wax,fat etc separated on two pull down passes. Spd: cold trap -72 252 microns on vac 50°c on condenser spinning at 692 rpm temp is currently at 190.7°c I didn’t get a cbd fraction until about 170°c

72,252 microns?

No cold trap is at -72 the vacuum is on 252 microns that’s what my sensor says

252 microns is ok. Not the best, but will work.

Are those head temps or mantle temps?

Head temp is at 198.2 right now and mantle is at 215.3 right now

The green gets darker as I distill further

You should be done by the time you hit that head temp

What do you mean? I won’t fraction cbd until about 161°c at least for me I usually run my head heat almost to 230° before I know I’m finished pulling cbd from the crude

You should be done with heads at 190* mantle temp at 200 microns. 215 mantle is when I’m already at the end of my mains, and I to the tails trying to squeeze the last goodies out. This is also after my flask swap to tails.
