Being from close to that area, this wage is actually pretty decent for an extractor compared to other AZ companies. I started extracting (2017) at $15/hr in Coolidge, arguably the same or worse environment than Globe and the same travel time from the east valley. The amount of people in the area (5mil in PHX) that want to work in cannabis is keeping wages low for entry level and semi-skilled positions. Analytical lab techs are being hired for licensed testing labs at $15-18 with a BA requirement. Chads will always want to pay the least they reasonably can, especially with the shrinking margins that are going on.

The takaeaway here is that chads are cheap and greedy and put operations in cheap places far from population to employ so they expect you to relocate for those pennies
and we wonder why the chaddiest companies are losing their ass right now
