We are going to be releasing our new short path kit soon and it has a lot of new features. One of our newest designs which has been in the works for a couple years now is our jacketed receiver we call the “pistol receiver”.
Basically it is a swing arm adapter with a valve on it so you could collect as many fractions as needed. The valve is oriented parallel to the body and is out of the vapor path so no more contamination, turbulence, and constriction there.
The body is jacketed so that the head and receiver are kept at the same temperature (connect them to the same recirculating heater). This prevents contaminates from accumulating there and makes the system much more stable and easier to operate.
