I have the head of a pipe that I used to own and meant dearly to me. She was an anteater /elephant thing and her name was Penelope (A.K.A. Snookie). The head is her mouthpiece. She’s been broken for quite some time now and I was wondering if there’s any glass blowers out there that could blow her a new body out of borosilicate that somewhat matches the original design, with original coloring and somehow reattach the head I kept. The bootyhole was her carb hole😥.
If there’s any glass blowers that I can mail the head to, give specs to blow to and who will charge me a reasonable price please let me know. It would be wonderful to have Penelope alive again.
No because there’s no body all I have is her head and butt. I need someone to make her a new body with a bowl piece. Like if I sent her butt and legs with the carb hole and the head could you blow a new body on to the butt with a bowl on top and front legs and attach the head
I want to say maybe. But theres a chance i completely fuck it up also.
Its a bad spot for a break. Its possible. I jjust dont know if i can do it “good enough”
If your willing to risk a complete loss ill give it a go and will just charge for the raw glass price if i succeed.
With that being said i strongly feel we can have that replaced easily in dtla. Probably sub $20 (if thats not an american artist)
