Looking for tips for setting up a gas compressor for vapor recovery. Also is it possible to run an oil gas compressor for vapor recovery or does it need to be oilless. Besides using vapor through valves or expansion valves for cooling what other options are people using to chill and condense the gas back into a liquid. Have an offer for a 3 stage 120hp sweet gas recovery unit but the pump uses oil. It was the only rental I could find for the customer which the rental company wants $4,500/month. Wondering if it’s a better deal to run a pump that big even if we won’t hit that capacity as the customer wants to run 8 tubes at a time.
