Bump.
Asking $38k OBO.

Lots of completely unused equipment, chillers, vacuumes, etc…

All unused, never seen chiller fluid or oils.

Glassware all brand new as well.

You might wanna lower that price a bit.

You were asking 38k 2 years ago. No one bit. Now the items you said might be under warranty are no longer for sure. Plus it’s been sitting 2 years.

Maybe cut that in half. :flushed:

Would rather hold onto it, and use it at a site, rather than go lower than $30k.

Its going up for auction on a2c soon. Will see how it does.

no offense but this system wiil not hit anywhere closeto 6L an hour. approching the 30K mark in todays industry will get you pretty close to a brand new wipwer with all the equipment included on a system that WILL hit 6L an hour

its open and used out of the box so i woud be surprisrd if you legitimatley get 15k ish for errthang

You guys ever run a machine with a duffision and 3 rotary vane roughing pumps?

Distillation speed limitations are based off evaporative capacity.
Evaporative capacity is based off input heat/energy, vapor point (lowered greatly by creating deep vacuum), and condenser heat capacity.

The effective evaporative capacity increases as you increase the CFM of vacuum being drawn/backed.

Agreed the surface area of the condenser limits the speed as well, it a coefficient in a distillation equation, moreso the chilling capacity to condense.

The backing vacuums on this system easily allow for 4L-6L/hour during your main pass.
Theres 60A of 208V vacuum on this machine

Ive set them up at clients sites.
These work best for CDT, distilling terpenes under high vacuum out of HTE.
Easier to do small batch HTE runs in this than gumming up a wiper.

Appreciate the feedback, not in a rush to sell.

at this rate… by the time you sell it… Summit might be outta business. LOL joking… not joking

I think you’re a great guy and very knowledgeable. I believe this system is worth whatever the seller wants to sell it for and the buyer willing to buy it for and if anyone else doesn’t like it, it doesn’t matter.

Now having said that… I just started to run a somewhat similar system. I have both hb1 and hb2 heads which so far I kind of like. I use a glas-col mantle (the stirrer magnets in it suck and needs to be replaced with aftermarket magnet) with an HCC J-Kem controller, a single Edwards 28 (will get a second one sometime in the near future) and a large Edwards Turbo(ETP100/300). The rest of my equipment does not matter as it should not make any different in the output of the system. I’m not going to quote any exact numbers because I’m still trying to learn and dial in the system. But I can tell you that while i MAYBE able to crank up the heat and push my system to SPEW out at 6 L an hour the distillate will look like complete and utter shit (by my standards at least).
If you have ACTUAL hands-on experience with dialing this in to get those kind of numbers while maintaining very high quality standards and are willing to share that knowledge I would be very much a appreciative, because at least for me right now those numbers seem completely unattainable while keeping the quality I want.

Bump.

$18k for the whole thing, need the space.

Ancillaries/chillers/vacuumscan likely get more than that if you were to sell it all split up.
