Trust me. I’ve had both ccell and avd and avd looks almost the same as ccell and they RIP way harder smother
@gobstopp far as premiumcarts.com or ifillable.com is concerned. You can checkout with a credit card payment for small quantities. These are real merchant accounts, not some 3rd party BS. Your age and information are verified through 3rd party (agechecker.net) to prevent fraud and chargebacks.
If at any point you feel you got knock-off CCELL all you would have to do is call your credit card company to dispute a charge. That is how confident I am of what we are selling.
I don’t tag customers or businesses that we work with. Do I have customers from this community yes 100%. In fact, I do supply hardware to many leading manufacturers within the US as well who in turn are using my supplied hardware to “create” many leading D8 brands within the market.
You don’t become an exclusive distributor for ikrusher in 5 states by selling 50K or 100K pcs a month. Just saying.
I don’t know about better, maybe in the flavor department. I would say AVD is identical but at a cheaper price.
There is a lot more to it in my opinion. This isn’t reflective of my business but my overall take on this matter.
When talking to people I have noticed CCELL has lost customers due to lack of customer service or attention from their main distributors. Finally, CCELL is starting to take notice.
Unless you are a licensed Cannabis operation it is very hard to even get companies like JP to even reply. They are seeking customers who are doing larger quantities. Many smaller operations find themselves in the same boat with all the main CCELL distributors.
Another very important aspect is scaling with CCELL and AVD.
CCELL requires plenty of force to close where AVD is easier and 14th round much easier. They come in trays. If you are looking to scale. You will fill 50 or 100 and cap them more easily than CCELL.
People are trying to save money it isn’t technically always about quality. These are personal preferences and are subjective. At one point there was a clear winner it is no longer the case. As many of these good-quality carts all hit very similar to each other.
I have recently picked up a couple of customers both AVD/14th round but in 95% of the cases it isn’t about the quality anymore. It is about ease of doing business. Having access to inventory. Price plays a very critical role too.
The biggest one being able to scale in this hypermarket boom without investing huge sums of money to just cap your carts.
Can definitely echo JP being impossible to work with unless you are at large quantities. They wouldn’t even look at my biz a bit ago.
AVD CS stuck to me like glue, making sure to grab details even when we decided to go elsewhere.
I am not surprised at all. I hear this day in and day out. Just so I am transparent.
I reached out to AVD a long time ago to become a distributor for them in the Northeast. Had a couple of productive conversations but it didn’t go anywhere. I bet the upper management didn’t see any value in bringing on a distributor in the Northeast as Cannabis hadn’t been legalized for the rec market.
One plus point AVD has against CCELL is the kind of control they have on their own distribution hence are a lot more vested in making it work.
I am honestly thinking about having a really good manufacturer white-label one of the carts for me. The day that happens and I feel I am very close to finally getting that done.
I am going to design that distribution model based on the bottom-up approach by getting smaller companies to adopt the hardware first before I even worry about the big boys.
I’d like to chime in here, since I see our name mentioned on several posts.
When we first decided to create AVD, we made the conscious decision to come to China “PERMANENTLY” to either search for a factory or worst case scenario, build and manage our own factory. Having been an operator of a state-licensed producer/processor license in Washington state, we understood the existing problems with current cartridge supply options. We also had a very successful distribution business for paraphernalia and packaging options and so we spent significant amounts of time searching for the right supply chain to no luck.
For example, we were once one of the largest distributors for Grav Labs back in the day, but then was able to find their factory in China, who was manufacturing their authentic “MADE in Austin, TX” glassware, being a select factory that has access to “borosilicate” glass, and so we ended up dropping Grav Labs and offering similar quality and like products at a “fraction” of the price that Grav charges wholesalers.
When it comes to AVD, we did extensive engineering reviews with nearly all the major factories and many smaller ones as well, including interviews with upper management and ownership to see if we agreed on what “partnership” meant to them. From First Union (who mainly supplies GreenTank and Greenlane) to ALD (who mainly supplies Stiiizy and iKrusher) to other groups such as Itsuwa, BBTank, Buddy, Transpring, JWEI, SMOK, GreekVape/VELX) and others.
We didn’t believe any of them could meet our standard and so we elected to build our own factory, that opened in spring of 2019. Today, we are currently maxed out at that factory and have recently opened an additional factory that we call version 2.0 that implements some smart automation that we’ve been studying for the past several years, in addition to bringing several of our exclusive raw material suppliers onsite, so we have increased visibility and control.
The biggest thing that we recognized was lacking was overall company/factory culture. Being not far removed from a culture of sweatshop practices, there is little drive or ambition for workers and middle management to care or take pride in their work. You can have the best designs, engineering and SOP’s, but if you don’t have people who care about enforcing those practices, you’re going to have weakness and failure.
Most of them have zero loyalty to the factory and there is a tremendously high turnover rate that happens about twice a year. We saw this challenge and focused on creating a culture of pride and care that permeates from the top down, with incentive programs for workers, professional development programs and onsite support to create very much a silicon valley start-up culture of passion and commitment.
Today, we are recognized as the fastest-growing brand in the industry, with major MSO’s now willing to transition to us because we have proven that we are here to stay and our capacity and infrastructure limitations as a “small company” are now being addressed as we are now a company that generates the revenue and sales that would probably shock a lot of bystanders.
Our initial strategy was to provide a product that was on par with CCELL at a lower price. Now, we are a company that produces a product that is far superior at a more affordable price. The recent launch of our award-winning zirconia that took First Place at the last Emerald Cup (AVD brand partners sweep the Emerald Cup! - AVD: Advanced Vapor Devices) and the recent launch of our STEM disposable is already receiving rave reviews for not only it’s performance and flavor, but also for our commitment to investing in supply chains and raw materials that reduce our carbon footprint in the form of our proprietary hemp-based plastics that naturally decompose within 3 years as an example.
We always love seeing, watching and collaborating with other partners and even cartridge brands because we care about the safety of this industry segment and realize that having more quality brands and suppliers further strengthens our position as sellers of vape products.
@avd710 it is a nice story and it sells but only to a certain point. If anything the stress AVD puts on couple of AMERICAN guys moving PERMANENTLY to China simply makes me want to walk away rather than walk toward your company.
Absolutely nothing unique about this. Until recently the biggest turn off for most distributors and manufacturers dealing with contract-manufacturers in China was the fact every conversation went something like this. Boss quantity and I give you the best price.
What would make you unique is if you guys looked beyond the cosmetics. You guys went to China met with all the companies who had no experience whatsoever at all in making cartridges. The only company who had the expertise and facilities to produce a product was your direct competition.
You guys produced a good product from your own factory and priced it lower than CCELL. While CCELL has been caught sleeping this entire time.
I have no love for CCELL or AVD. I am just a distributor who works with 170 vendors out of China. I can’t wait for some of these vape related companies to get their act together to produce cartridges at a larger scale for a truly affordable price like gcell/quartz cartridge.
It is their (Airis/gcell) lack of understanding of distribution in the US they are not as popular as they should be. It was the same reason ALD/iKrusher parted ways in terms of ownership. Once they understand I expect them to grow at a rapid pace. They have extremely diversified distribution network for other products.
I don’t want you to think I am hating on AVD. Far from it. This community needs to thrive. It can’t thrive with large MSO’s and companies to looking to deal with large brands or multi-state operators.
They aren’t adding any real value nor are any known brands be it CCELL or iKrusher or AVD or anyone else for that matter to grow the the market. This is why if you look at the distribution footprint it is full of hotspots and cold spots on a map.
Every single above mentioned company has a extremely poor distribution model for smaller businesses. No one takes interest. They simply don’t get the pricing. No one really cares about the little guy.
over 5,000 SKU’s and no MOQ we supply over 2,000 locations just in Long Island and Connecticut alone. Anything you want any time you need it. You got it.
“Made in the USA” or “American Owned” doesn’t mean much when this thread is about a “FUCKING VAPE BAN”
everyone here is stuck trying to source good products at a good price dealing with all these new requirements and restrictions with shipping.
Would have been brilliant for one of these market leading companies to setup micro-distribution points. That is something I am hoping to do soon. Would love to see the big boys get their act together.
Hey looking to make an order
" If anything the stress AVD puts on couple of AMERICAN guys moving PERMANENTLY to China simply makes me want to walk away rather than walk toward your company."
“Absolutely nothing unique about this.”
“I have no love for CCELL or AVD”
“I don’t want you to think I am hating on AVD. Far from it.”
Good to know you’re not “hating on us!” LOL
My thoughts exactly… lol what a joke
UPS = shit
Took a week+ for a coffee filter holder to come in on a 2-3 day delivery
Wow! I would have expected a high schooler to have had better comprehension skills. This is called constructive criticism. If you can’t handle it least don’t make yourself look like a fool or the company you represent.
If you represent AVD from a management position. Private message me and I will tell you how you have lost 4 customers whom I know including their names in the last two months to whom I have sold 300K cartridges and 1 to 14th round. I bet those guys have done about 200K cartridges as well.
Your site, your posts within this community all start with a couple of American guys who moved to China. So? How does this help my business or other members of this community? before you write up a fancy post about how you make sure the quality is higher look beyond this question onto the next one. (Perhaps invest properly in QC department so those thrilled employees of yours don’t need the bosses to watch them 24/7)
I have investments in China, South Korea, and Canada. In each case, someone moved there. I know plenty of people who have been in China for the last couple of years starting out and building factories. So nothing unique from my point of view.
Let’s deal with facts. I sell CCELL I have had a very harsh take on their management including in the above post. I sell iKrusher I say constructive things about them as well. I don’t currently sell Airis gcell/quartz cartridge yet I have had an active relationship with them for the last 4/5 years. Spending a couple of hundred thousand dollars minimum a month with them. (buying other items)
Fact: They have a much larger well-diversified distribution network for non-cartridge-related products.
Fact: CCELL and AVD (gcell + everyone else) have an extremely poor distribution model when it comes to small businesses. Even if the small businesses can tap into the inventory directly they have a great disadvantage in pricing.
Fact: Until the PACT Act none of the leading brands including AVD had made any effort so far to create micro-distribution centers or look for partners that primarily catered to small businesses and their demands.
Fact: You named the companies within your above post. None of them had the expertise or the experience in cartridge manufacturing. I work with most of them and I am a Tier-one distributor/global partner with them.
Fact: I provided a written proposal to CCELL multiple years ago to create micro-distribution. Their problem? They had 4 major distributors and everyone was more interested in protecting their butter.
This allowed AVD indirectly to thrive as well.
Fact: I reached out to AVD as has been stated in this thread and others to see how we could help in an industry where the little guys are not represented and we could cater to them.
Fact: I never continued the conversation further because the response I got from AVD was…what would be my quantity? because no large MSO is here. You guys missed it by a country mile.
Fact: I have spent money and advocated on behalf of Vape, Hemp, and indirectly Cannabis. I am not fully on board with large MSO’s and I hope the lawyers and activists in the Northeast are able to get this done. Which prevents this. I put my money where my mouth is.
My above post dealt with real issues. Real issues that impact members of this community. The service aspect of distribution and helping small brands become big brands.
You might be a shining star in Cannabis and I have no issues. I would still distribute your products and still maintain the same views.
I have seen many companies come and go. 100’s of millions in profits from a couple of hundred employees to 10,000 employees. The beauty of China and the industry we are in.
Instead of your “LOL” replies perhaps deal with issues with the right attitude and you won’t have to misinterpret what I had to say and I won’t feel like I just wasted my time providing constructive feedback to another thankless company run by a 20yr…who is out there shopping for a Lambo but couldn’t provide a $500 donation to their local county, state to prevent a Vape ban.
I get it that many members within this community are not going to have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing the cartridges or the cost associated with it and how proper distribution makes these items readily available at an affordable cost.
@Potatov3 is trying the SMOK cartridge which he really likes. I don’t know him but he did message me from this thread wanting to have a look at the SMOK cartridge. I gave him my take on it.
For those of you who do not know this. SMOK can be found in every smoke shop or vape shop that sells vaping products including the gas station on the corner that you visit if they sell vapes.
There is absolutely nothing better for you as a consumer or a business to have SMOK finally be able to make a good cartridge that is safe and reliable.
This thread would become meaningless overnight. Vast distribution network in every corner of the US. Well-established sub-distribution level with jobbers.
This isn’t hating anyone. This is being grounded in reality and doing my job. Which is look after my customers. My loyalty isn’t with the products it is with my customers making sure they get what they need at a reasonable price.
First thing they teach you in business school about constructive criticism is to lead with a positive. That was not constructive criticism… that’s just another keyboard warrior being a hater. ![]()
I am sorry I never did get to the business school. High School is far as I got before starting my first business as a web host. As luck would have it. The entire business was actually built on a forum just like this about 20 years ago. Customers would interact and learn from each other and helped us get better by taking us to cleaners when they weren’t happy.
Again, I am sorry and I do apologize if I came across as negative or a keyboard warrior type. My posts spanning multiple threads have in the past discussed distribution or the lack of proper distribution from the leading brands.
AVD I have nothing but positive things to say about their hardware. I technically never did mention the hardware or any issues with the actual product.
I understand the importance of community and working together to improve. Over 20 years ago…forums just like these my customers would learn from each other to launch their e-commerce stores. In fact, my company provided resellers with the opportunity to resell our services.
I sold my company back in 2005 I have two customers for both of them we set up their first virtual server and told them how to use it. I met one of them a couple of times.
Both of them now own their own data centers. I am so happy for them. In fact, one of them now hosts multiple business sites of mine. Both of these data centers are easily worth 200 million each.
It makes me happy when folks find success. I know my place in this ecosystem. I know the role I can play and I know what I earn is deserved hence if the opportunity comes when I look at AVD again and I feel I can grow their business. I would do it.
If it isn’t clear. It would be my choice because I would be growing their business. They don’t need me and I don’t need them. That is childish and I don’t think like that but I respect the fact you can’t work with all the businesses and you won’t be on the same page with them.
iKrusher told me they had no real clients in the Northeast and they feel I would add value. We talked. We worked out a plan and now I am bringing on multiple customers every week.
It’s just very simple. It’s business. Don’t sell fancy stories when they aren’t backed up by facts and really don’t matter in the larger scheme of things.
My post should have been ignored. A childish reply wasn’t needed. I believe this forum does have a silence feature as well.
How do you know this? That “Fancy” story is about me… You know, the American guy in China.
Again if it wasn’t clear earlier. It simply doesn’t matter if you are that guy. Unless you are telling me your the hardest working man within this community and China and somehow you being an American means exactly what to the rest of us?
At least if you were Chinese you could’ve gotten the benefit of avoiding questions because of the language barrier.
Don’t bother with this crap quit while your ahead. I am just a random person on the forum. You are perhaps an owner of a successful cartridge brand at this moment.
You want to start talking ethics or the American side of the story or you working with other brands in China we can and your ethics at that point and innovation AVD is leading.
Or
We stick to the facts. AVD is a good cartridge just like multiple other cartridges in the market.
Good cartridge which is an upcoming growing brand. Vaping wasn’t invented by the Americans. 90% of the research, manufacturing happens in China…good you are there.
As an America someone who understands or should understand the PACT Act and American distribution model/style/traditional way of doing business.
Please let us know the steps you (AVD) has taken to address these pressing issues?
Or we should be simply star struck by your presence here.
I made a statement about poor distribution of ALL cartridges within the context of this thread
All I am getting are further replies with no added value to me as a business, neither as a member of the community nor any real value being brought from a consumer prospective.
Your American…you are in China. Huge numbers…your rich. True American story…I am sorry I bothered you.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Junkyard (spam comment dump)
Not sure if anyone on this thread is still looking for some 510 Carts at a good price… but I do have some if you are looking for them and there is a massive sale going on for them right now. Unfortunately they are located in Canada so if you are wanting them shipped to the US, you would have to also pay the extra shipping charge. Not sure if anyone would be interested in these as I am also not an expert when it comes to Cartridge quality or design. Just figured I would put the offer out there for anyone looking.
Here is the deal I currently have access to:

Cheaper pricing available on large volume orders!
Current Available Stock: 103 units
