Thank you for the warm welcome. I found them growing at 9000’ above the Sonoran Desert and in multiple patches, truly an amazing find for me to come across.
That tub
How the heck does he get full coverage, my first flush was patchy, my second looks much thicker…I’ve switched to montoubs and hardly ever open it and doing much better about contamination
Yeah same here. My second flush was way fuller and produced nicer looking/bigger fruits. But no where near as full as that.
I haven’t had to deal with any contamination yet luckily, aside from on a few agar plates. The clone trays with domes are awesome.
I kept getting contamination somehow, my guess growing in bedroom I shut off…and houseplants and dogs throughout the house… Plus I wasn’t being as clean as I should
I have nice 2nd flush albacanez coming up tomorrow maybe tonight. My bags grow faster but I still get contamination every so many bags… I’ll probably do montoubs from now on
a lil premature picking there huh
It was cold
Nutcracker
Agar pins
Agar shroom
ALC strain… Looks like it’ll be fine completely flushing before the apes even pin…hope I don’t losee the in ape bags
Couple monotubs did awesome this time but the bags put out larger thicker mushrooms
Think if I add more substrate to the monotubs instead matching it to spawn bag in lbs I’ll get more
Looks close, trying to identify as a pin is much harder than a mature fruit body.
Fruit bodies in the soil can be a sign of too much moisture but it’s also a good sign you have a strong mycelial colony in your soil.
Wait a few hours/nights and it should be much easier to identify.
I will keep you updated for proper ID. Had to walk the grower through several ranges today to discuss high moisture levels. Somethings are too wet for sure.
I have noticed an uptick in fruit bodies lately with our commercial blends of soil. Especially from Sun Gro.
I’ve experienced leocoprinus in sungro and fox farms, but it was L. Birnbaumii after a heavy rain in the valley so was very humid. I would expect it to be more noticeably yellow than that pin if it was birnbaumii

These are pictures from last year. Same dirt, different state.
What strain is this…it has the fatest stems I’ve ever seen
Those were some B+. The Hillbilly culture I have grows some FAT ass stems. They are typically shorter though. chode style
