Yeah I can’t wait. I’ve already learned so much from these first plates/jars/trays. Experience always seems to be the best teacher for sure.
One of these days I’ll have some fruits that look like the ones you posted :heart_eyes:

Mushrooms are amazing teachers… sometimes they can even be golden teachers :wink:

They teach so much about patience, sterile technique, and moving with a purpose while in the SAB or flow hood.

You will man! Thank you for that compliment! Stick with it and learn from each run, never get discouraged if you run into contaminants or have a bunk flush. There is always something to learn from these little fellas.

I’ve got APE on agar getting cleaned up, but man it colonizes slow. Can’t wait till I get it on sub.
Have some PESA in the works as well.

I never could get anything outta the Hawaiian copelandias aka panelous cyan. I would do anything to just buy some fruit of it from someone

Welcome to the community @The_Phantom! That looks like a great patch of amanita aprica you found there! I’ve only ever found one before, but it may have been the prettiest fungi I’ve found in the wild.

Amanita muscaria grows literally everywhere up in AK. In the summer time they fruit all summer and can be found on almost any trail.

If inebriation is the goal, I’ll just use booze
