Hello we run a THAR PROCCESS co2 machine and just wondering if there would be a noticeable difference in any way by switching from welding co2 to food grade co2.

I don’t know about
Grade co2 but I do know there is no noticeable difference between food grade versus non food grade. I don’t even think it’s that much more in price, about $5 more per 50lbs of CO2
I believe the difference is the lubrication used in the pumps for filling. Food grade will use a food grade based lubricant. Food grade tanks are supposed to be fully purged and cleaned, but they often are not.

We use exclusively food grade, I would really look into trying to move to it, our vendor supplies it to us for the same price they would non food grade.
