"Fog" appearing on inside of SPD collection flask?

I don’t think that’s what is happening in my situation. I have a 60/50 head and then KF40 all the way to the pump - I can’t imagine I have any vacuum restrictions. My gauge responds quickly to anything happening in my boiling flask. If I kick up the stir speed, my gauge instantly jumps.

I think the simplest explanation is the right answer. My collection flask is significantly cooler than my condenser, so of course any vapor that doesn’t condense will start to collect at any cold points.

I get it sometimes and the smallest opening on mt set up is a #29 joint and i dont chill my flasks.

Ah, yes. Full bore systems, as they are often called, rarely (if ever) have that issue. Your assumption is most likely accurate. Thank you for clarifying!

You should be fine with one, ramp the temp up until condensate no longer forms in the cow/ flasks. You may want to make a tin foil heat shield on the to protect any gl connections/ hoses from melting.
