Used them for?!?

Pretty sure I’ve got one of their filter housings around. It was salvaged, so I’ve not used it in process. Figured I’d add it to a heat transfer loop at some point.

What are you filtering? Which filter were you planning on using?

Are you recommending others try them?

Or looking for recommendations?!?

Sorry i was not more specific im new to game .i was thinking about using for winterazation.

No worries. But you are going to need to provide more info…

Which filter (Specifically)?

At what scale?

How much reading have you done here? There are a number of filtration experts on here…

I’ve used shelco’s cartridge filter housings. They’re nice. To be fair all cartridge housings are practically the same.

What processes do you use them for?thanks for responding much appreciated

I use a two stage filter for winterization. First, a 5 micron bag filter. Then a 0.2 micron cartridge filter.

You know pricing on them? What model do you use?

Standard 226 style. I think it’s about 400 dollars. Then a size 2 bag housing. Around 1200 dollars

How long does filter last?

The bags need to be be changed each time you use them. The cartridges last anywhere from a week to a month depending how hard you’re hitting them.

That tells us the size of your equipment. It does not tell us a lot about the volume you are trying to filter.

How many gallons/liters at a time. How often.

Ok thanks for info and your time i really appreciate it
