When winterizing in a jar in the freezer how do you separate your junk from good stuff ?

On a small scale usually a Buchner funnel and a filter flask.

If u pour slow enough and keep it frozen u can pour the top goodies layer off and keep it but its gotta be so cold it drops.the fats to the bottom

Winterize in Methanol if you can. The fats drop out at room temp in methanol…
