Here’s the FDA report to congress covering the agency’s analysis of mislabeled and adulterated CBD products. The only surprising aspect of the report is that for the first time, FDA tested products for 11 different cannabinoids: delta-8 THC, CBC, CBD, CBDA, CBDV, CBG, CBGA, CBN, delta-9 THC, THCA, and THCV.
The agency will be ramping up its random testing in 2020 and into 2021 to help craft regulations for the industry. Not sure if it’s a good thing or bad thing that FDA is catching on to the host of other cannabinoids besides d9THC and CBD. Either way, take note!
