Fancy Air Cleaners for PM in greenhouses

There’s a bunch of companies out there promoting gear that “kills 100% of PM” with fancy sci-fi terms like, “Multi-Cluster Ionization”, “Titanium Dioxide Nanocrystals”, and my fav “Technology Certified By NASA.”

I know some of these systems work great for Odor control, but does anyone know if their claims on PM are true?

PM mitigation is pretty simple. UV light in grows and working areas, Regalia IPM, and regular disinfection at switch over with h2o2, bleach, or antifungal. You should never have mold or mildew issues. If you are a commercial/industrial grow you should add UV filters to your ducting and stay on top of your physical filters as well. PM should have an extremely hard time proliferating in an indoor grow.

My bad, I should have specified these products’ efficacy in a greenhouse environment. But yes, plant nutrition, air quality, climate etc are the primary defense when it comes to PM. I’m more curious if anyone has experience w/ these space gadgets in a greenhouse when it comes to PM specifically

Cheers,

I have the Dyson Cryptomic for my home. May or may not be applicable for your needs.
