The UN convention and the various EU laws derived from it ask to test total THC since the 70s, at least when it comes to hemp/cannabis plants, flowers and extracts. GC without derivatization used to be the preffered method. So I doubt this would be due to such analytical aspects.

here is a screenshot of an analysis of very poor quality hashish acquired in France. it was light yellow and very dry. I cut it into small pieces and put it in n-heptane. in a GL 45 bottle. Filtration of solids. Then filtration at room temperature. then two filtrations with a -20° freezer. then two filtrations with a -85° freezer. the fat count was very impressive. I will once get rid of this grease and recover it with the rotovap oil. then I will start the filtration again with ethanol with a view to distillation.

European made hasj
Maybe it s maroccan hasj diluted with cbg kief or or straight up cbg kief with D9 oil

To bad the coa is GC and not hplc
To see the acitic cannabinoid content
If thc-a is not present straight D9 oil
As for the consistency very dry is deu to an additive that’s added to obtain the so called la mousse
It works but only for approx 10 days
After thistle it sucks up al the oil and binds it leaving a dry sift consistency
It s not a dangerous additive so relax
The main question is does it have this typical maroccan scent ?
Or the typical cbg scent
The fats you are seeing is possibly part of the recipe the fool uses this straight from the can
The color does not get affected much althou it s black
It s the stick you see when hasj has such low content chances are it won t stick to be pressed

Beldia maroccan landrace does NOT have cbg in these numbers ever
Beldia does have cbd content and since this is so little I doubt any maroccan hasj is involved

the appearance and smell was close to the bad hashish of the late 90s early 2000s, ‘pollen’. usually I recover 55% solids. with this hashish I recovered 70% solids.
Check for d8 Thc and you have the answer.

Chances are the thc is to mask the real psychoacrive compound some synthetic cannabinoid of some sort
