Incredible and what do you think is due to this growth in THC values?
I’d be very interested to see analytics on potential additives to somewhat piggyback on what @Roguelab was saying about fake hash out there too. I would wager to guess the internet showing what hash is supposed to look like raised the bar a bit and nefarious sources are now realizing they can’t be as bold faced with their cutting techniques
Good question…I am not sure.
The problem with such statistics is always that we don’t know where the samples came from…limited to one or two cities? How many sample were collected?
I can kot imagine that Hash in Morocco produced contain merely 8% THC to no point of time.
I suspect 8% means faked Hash/Kif…the boom of THC starts with 2016 nearly where Spain became the largest producer of weed here in Europe and pushed the Netherlands behind, perhaps that led to the increase that spanish produced hash or imported ware from Morocco came into market more easily.
It could also be that the majority of hash in Europe is faked hash with added THC.
The bubble check seems to be a good indicator, I tried yesterday with CBD hash at home after reading here and it did not build bubble…if just because my stuff is low quality or CBD hash at all can not bubble…I don’t know.
Normally should added oil also produce bubbles, maybe even too strong.

Europe is mostly in case of weed/hash a business model of trickery and scam. All capabilities are within gangster control if like 10 years ago from Albania, mocros in Netherlands or now in Spain by different nationalities.
The aim is always to make money, bribe and launder as fast as possible without regard for the customer.
I believe this goes with the raise of production and exports, price drop, and increased confiscations of quality products. The value might be an average. Because good untouched quality products straight from Morocco are rather 30-35%.

The confiscations are low, that is not part of the solution of the riddle.
Perhaps are 35% content THC not produced for the large “discounter market”.
Confiscations make up litte %age of the total trade, but beat records every year in all countries.
Probably just because trade grows every year.
The effort from police can remain the same, it does not affect the market in any form

But probing at, or close to, the main source gives for sure access to higher quality. Plus smuglers are moving larger weights this last decades. In France this was even"controlled" for a while…

I am assuming the statistics are averages and I have encountered these numbers often and asume that as an average they are right
Defenatly in the early 2000 the average was around this mark since at that time
Commercial hash was the largest volume imported
Marocco with their soap bars
And their commercial plates having a low thc/thc-a content +/- 8%
Pakistan/ Afghanistan with their commercial black 2 kg coffee pakkages plates at around 10% thc/thc-a content
Red and yellow Libanon where still around at that time althou not is statistically huge numbers but there average was not all that great either
In the early 2000 there was high thc content hasj available but I think it only represented 10%\15% of the volume shipped out and destined to rich countries or Dutch coffe shops
Swiss has always had decent hasj delivered since it had a cannabis legal status at the time and folks where spoiled
Germany England and France had a conosieur market but the masses where smoking crap so the 10/15% higher quality did land there but mainstream smoker smoked crap
Around 2000 the market started to shift
Libanon /afgan and Pakistani hasj deliveries lowered a lot deu to war invasions and the bust of a few crews that shipped shitloads a void that was never closed
Around this same time “critical “ was introduced to marocco ( foreign strains)
This made a huge shift in production volume 1000 kg of beldia ( local landrace ) only gives 6-8 kg of hasj
And critical 45-70 kg per 1000kg of biomass
Quality jumped on average and so did the demand for better higher content hasj
At this time around 150000 Acers where planted in marocco and and shipping by
Rib became popular maroccan hasj overwhelmed the market and the rib transport lowered the transport costs considerably coast to coast there’s only 11.2 km that needed crossing wich gradually became a longer voyage since nowadays we have to travel hundreds of kilometers to land safely
As a result Spain became the main hub for sales wich used to be amsterdam
The English transported directly from Spain and the hasj trade took a bite in the Netherlands
Gradually since the early 2000 the critical cultivation expanded and this is pulling the average up a lot
Nowadays there are only 40000 acres planted in marocco and I think the export is 50/50
Spain in the mean time opened their social clubs and the demand for higher thc content rised ( although socialclubs are not allowed to sell hasj the $ > %

All in all there are many factors that have forced the %content to rise
Now to 2023 cultivation of cannabis has
Goten a huge impuls in the last few years since cbd got it s glory and Italy Slovenia Croatia Spain produce a lot more outdoor cannabis As a result hash use has been in decline
The EU has slammed hard on the Rib boat transport since it a the same routes that immigrants use and transport cost have been rising steadily
So as of today the average transport cost to eu is 850€/kg
This makes that only a product with a decent valeu is worth shipping and with a cannabis % spoiled costumer this means send decent hasj 17% thc >
In the last few years the average cbd dealer begun producing hash as well with cbg/cbd pollen and legal highs
Like hhc hhc-p thc-p and some fellas started making hash with thc
Althou These amounts are still not large they are noticible personally do not think it s more than 10% of total psychoacrive hash available but I must admit the volumes produced in tjechie Slovenia are out of my sight since they are likely shipped further east (Russia etc etc)
As for synthetics the main hoax is with flowers but the trend of making hash is rising but since it s so much labor intensive folks prefure to try their luck with flowers

There could be even another possibility…that the kind of analytical subject changed slightly.
When they 20 years ago just measured the THC9 content and not the THCa content it could also explain the results.
But nevertheless what you say is also absolutely reasonable

O brother veryyy treu maybe since thc-a as only since recently become listed in Germany as a illegal compound on it s own you are right
Nederlands had the same approx amounts in hasj as those German once I can ask since I know some of the folks involved in the research
