Store called grangettos that’s in SD. No idea if they ship stuff or not but they pretty much have the best prices on everything they carry.

Smoking my first gg12 Its a chernobyl cross. I dunno what to think of tmy first round of clones, They are so phenotypically different Im not sure if its the same clone. I have 5 and they are abused, 1 is short and has a pineapple like structure close to buds, its the one im smoking and its not dry yet and smells not great but ok smoke. Others in the same tent are stretchy and wont stop putting out pisils and wide colas like a softball bat but white hairs and stacking still. Then the one clone I took and planted is in another tent and is unstressed and has like 10 of those hairy colas but all healthy and should be a sativa beast. I had to move them in and out in below zero temps and I cant really tell which were in which tents before moving or which was most exposed to cold so I dunno.

Well everyone flip has came. I’m in day 2 if flowering. Stretch really hasn’t set in quite yet. I’m late on the trellis because in a piece of shit.

But I’m here to talk about crop steering. Now that I have flipped it is time to switch to generative growth signaling. That means heavy dry downs. I feed veg mix through the first week of flowering.

Generative is very easy for me. Normally I would water all the way till 4 hours before lights off but because these little ladies only spent like 13 days in veg (I’m just estimating so if your looking back arguing that buds can’t look like mine will in a few weeks don’t @ me, to lazy to look at my calendar rn) I just bring them up to saturation with 10% runoff then let them chill overnight. Chilling about a .9 vpd with high temps compared to a lot of people 78-82.

Here are some shots, will upload exact dosing calculations in a bit when I go take measurements before their first feeding so I can measure 22 hour dry down.

Here are some shots complete with sulpher spots beauty marks.

Beautiful update @Dukejohnson!! Good job!

Thanks, in a few weeks things will start to get interesting. Usually as soon as I can start to see significant difference in flower formations I blink and it’s either done or I fucked it up! :joy:

Alright back to numbers. Dry down is from like 67% wc at field capacity drying back to 38-42% (short veg time smaller dry down than longer veg would be) this is fine for start of stretch, will switch to my new irrigation cycle and let it cruise and those dry downs will get pretty sizable by the time I switch to bulking steering after the stretch ends. Currently I am needing about a 27% increase in moisture + how much it drys down in the time it takes me to apply 27% (17 ml/he) plus a 10% of that in runoff (extra 2.7 ml) for a total of 314 + 17 ml/hour it takes me to get to 314 ml. I am switching to a 4% shot size now so about 42 ml/shot so that is 314/42 ml shot for 7.5 irrigations. Because I won’t irrigate more than every 15 minutes that is 2 hours of watering cycle. With the 17 ml dry down that puts me at 8.3 irrigations. I’ll do 8 for now because I am trying to stack EC in the block up to about 9.0-11 by then end of this generative phase (the stretch). Likely midway through the week or the end of the week I will add an extra irrigation to bring it to 9 irrigations. Letting it dry back fully after last watering until watering begins again 3 hours after lights come on.
Let me know if you have any questions. :+1:

Got back from vacation and everything is alive and growing fast. Canopy isn’t as even as I usually like but what can I say tons of different genetics in a small place will do that. Day 15 of flowering and everything has doubled in size in past week. Missed my stack/power si so everything stretched a bit more than normal. Lollipop about half tonight and will do have tomorrow as well as pulled out two plants that got left behind in the stretch. Stuff is developing quite quickly with everything capped off with pistils. In about 7 days I’m gonna defoliate the hell out of these and switch to bulk steering. Till then a few pics!

Day 20 of 12/12
Stretch is ending. I no longer have a walk way. It is now more of a crawl way. Need to defoliate them. Usually would go day 23 but it’s so tight it’s going to be a huge pain in the ass so I’mma start tonight. Will post bulk steering logic when I sit down to program watering timer

what are your goal per plant, per light and total gpw? they are big is there a trellis hidden in there i dont see? I dont usually use de lights but its heading into the territory i call overgrown. THe led are penetrating. its very strain dependent, my gg4 is larfy edit- when I saw it i was looking at the plants and not the lights and presumed de.

7-10 lbs total depending on what I’m running/how well I do at not fucking it up. There is a trellis in there. For less than 14 days between stick and flip they definitely got big. Had I been here week before last I would have kept spraying stack and power si which would have kept the nodes tighter and less stretch. Or I at least could have gotten another trellis in. I’m going to have to corral them up later to keep everything vertical.

those are pgr? I fucked up my grow by adding co2 and not enough trellis= a MAT of mimosa. Its all laying on a cage and colas stick out but its a mess.

Pgr? You mean power si and stack? Power si is silicate and stack is kelp so I guess you could say it has some plant growth regulators in it from the kelp.

ok, I gotta find my damn silica. i got a big bag. and a 50 lb bag of kelp.

I gotta be using these things since i have em ive used itt all but at this point i got so much product i forget about some. I need to organize all my ferts and all my indoor pesticides and Lawn stuff. Yesterday I made stuff for the lawn that says on the label it kills mj. I shouldnt be mixing toxic shit like that in the kitchen sink. Ill remember next time and do it on the porch. I also rinse pots in that sink. I washed the fuck out of it. Not to mention cancer risks from the lawn poison. By in the sink I meant i had the sprayer there and added ounces of chems. but kitchen sink was the wrong place.

Ya I find at least the stack and power si really cut down on the stretch.
