Evaporation proof EtOH?

Thank you to everyone who provided input.

While we first thought it was seed oil, It looks like it was fats/waxes. After 4 additional winterization cycles (200proof etoh, -40c, 48HR) we were able to full precipitate out all fats and it crashed almost immediately out of the roto.

Follow up question: Has anyone who has ran CBG noticed much higher fat content? Based on the data, it looks like nearly 20% of the yield was lost to winterization. Content is still there at 80% but final yield on input is only 5%…

Glad you figured it out! In my experience, hemp strains are typically higher in waxes, so if it’s a CBG hemp, high wax content makes sense.
