Drying/Curing Technology

Just curious if anyone has used any drying or curing technology that they liked. I have heard good things about the yofumo drying boxes, and would like to know about other commercial drying and curing solutions. This is a new one I just found today, seems unlikely the product wouldn’t be harsh or lose flavor with a 40 hour dry. About | Dhydra Technologies | Our Cannabis Drying Story & Process

I was watching cannacribs and someone was using a box that was analyzing, what was off gassing from the weed they were curing. I am glad that people are finally looking into how to preserve weed better, hopefully it gets us some answers on the correct way to go about it.

We use tobacco barns last year you get about 6000 pounds of wet flour in them done pretty good if you kept them about 20 degrees above outside air temperature seems like if we went up much over about 125f. that partially decarb the suff but large drying jobs it’s a really great cheap way to go I think

How big of unit do you have? Can you dry whole plants and stems or do you do you have to buck them and use a racking system? Did you retain more terpenes and flavor using this then your previous method?

they have both systems. the smaller unit you have to do a “pre dry” and the unit finishes and cures. The larger units are whole plant hang. Our last tests showed slightly higher terpene content vs the previous method (whole plant hang). I’ll post the COA’s when i get into my office tomorrow.
