I havent heard of polymer beads, but the molecular beads I use are made of zeolite.
Yeah if ur not gonna do further sifting or static tech. Air tight container and in the fridge or freezer is great for long term storage for pressing.
Make sure you “thaw” and warm the kief to room temp while In the air tight container before pressing, so u dont get condensation on the kief.
If ur not gonna use molecular beads, there is definitely some moisture left in from condensation in the tumbling process. So I still recommend the drying beads before pressing, but I’ve done it plenty of times without the beads before knowing about them and it worked fine. I usually tumbled one day and spent the next day squishing. I would go about 2g/sq in in my 5"x5" rosin patties. I pressed with 14 tons of pressure for 3 minutes I think. Ramp up slower than when u squish bud, it will pop the bag more easily.
Wouldn’t it be easier to throw your dry sift into a freeze drier momentarily?
