Dry ice

Hey guys I cant find dry ice anywhere, I’ve searched in and out of town high and low. I live on a small island so it’s hard to get supplies. Can I distill and change vac pump oil every run without a cold trap or will my product and pump suffer? Any alternatives ?

Buy a -40 to -60 chiller.

I’m guessing you can’t get co2 delivered to you either?

If you’ve got the electricity you’ll be able to get the cold

Copper coil connected to -40 chiller dipped in a cold trap with iso? Would that work ? I’d have to buy a better chiller. Mine only goes to -20 I’m assuming that won’t work ? Thx a bunch for reply I appreciate it.

buy a -80C or better immersion chiller off ebay if the object of the game is cold trap for SPD sans dry ice.

My new cryogenic immersion chiller used from ebay just got here today. My poly foam bath pan meant for cryo apps using alcohol got here too but my methanol is a few days out.
