When I made the turducken joint with like 5 kinds of hash I had the idea to make Cannagars for christmas presents - stewed around on it for a bit then when I went outside and smoked the turducken while pondering it (and my orb) I laid back in my hammock just as this song got slow and super motherfucking heavy - then as if signaled from above that my idea is fucking awesome a giant comet/meteor/whatever flew above me and exploded…which has happened a lot. This is not hyperbole at all.
So… What i’ve been doing is using the purple rose supply mold and shredding the fuck out of nug but mixing it with a REAL fair amount of bubble hash. Whenever I make rosin I scrape the spoon on a piece of parchment next to the trays I toss in the FD so I always have a good amount to screw with. Once I stuff that all together with a bamboo skewer through the middle and really go to town on it, you gotta start small so the rounded tip packs hard because that’s normally the point that breaks i’ve found. After that I’ll toss it in a tupperware container with a 62% humidity packet and let the mold chill there for a day to harden up and form then i’ll wrap the fucker with a hemp bluntwrap, tie it up let it sit for a few days back in the tupperware (inside my wine fridge set at 65f) then…and this is the part that i’ve had to work on and think I finally have worked out proper - I’ll take a few fans from the mommys since those always end up way bigger, put them on the top of the humidity packet and let it lose moisture that way so it doesn’t get all weak in spots and the moisture seems to be evenly distributed because if it’s too fresh the leaf at the fatter end of the bottom will just sort of stick out like a boat sail. I’ve been using ‘gluegar’ brand blunt glue to be able to keep making these bad boys to keep them clean and un-spittled. It was less than efficient at first but once I found that if you spread it sort of evenly it gets much more tacky than it was. Bit of a learning curve with it. I’m trying to see which is better though, melting the hash over the leaves because the hash will melt into the flower rather than just dripping out or if it’s worth the pain in the fucking ass to just somehow put it underneath the leaves while I give the final wrap. Let me take a few pics
First attempt at the leaf-wrap. No bluntwrap underneath so it’s not as structurally sound as the rest.
Way stronger with the wrap. Only using hemp wraps, no tobacco.
The ass ends are an issue but I think if you’re cutting it sort of like an iron cross but don’t take the little spaces out I can overlap them and actually make it look like a god honest cigar with a rounded mouthpiece.
I’ve been trying to find out how/where to get my own fancy custom cigar rings.
