Two large filter systems for sale. Basically, a glorified Büchner funnel made of stainless steel with 15 liter (4 gal) collection containers. Paid $14k new and have about one year of use. No moving parts so nothing to wear out! Approximately 35 x 24 µm and 35 x 5 µm filter papers included for each unit. Vacuum pump not included.
Unfortunately, these were never actually worth even half of $14k new. That isn’t a criticism of you, by rather the manufacturer who is notorious for marking up not-so-innovative work. I may be interested in purchasing these if you don’t have any luck selling these, but my offer would be real world prices rather than in reference to what they were purchased for. Something to the tune of $2000 since I’ve actually built a very similar but slightly smaller device brand new & sanitary for about $2200.
Totally agree about the manufacturer. I wasn’t responsible for the purchase, just getting rid of them. The stainless is probably worth something to a scrap yard. Send me a DM if you’re still interested.
Sure thing, I’ll drop a line. Again, I’m not trying to be disparaging whatsoever about the purchase or decision or anything like that - I was just trying to explain why the figures that come to mind are what they are.
