I’m sure there is some effect in hydro type grows, but in soil media the pH doesn’t matter. The rhizosphere pH is dictated by the plant roots andi t can swing from 2 to 12 depending on what the plant feels like it needs. the plant will release exudates to solubilize certain nutrients. i would imagine the only issue would be at extreme pHs where you get extremophile bacteria that could possibly kill your plant
TLO soil for the win. Haven’t had to ph in years, thank god lmao
Nice ! This is probably the least understood sector of cannabis for me
In my fields in marocco the main component of the soil is calciumcarbonate (30%) present in the clay making ph shifts nearly impossible
And I have honestly given up for now in attempting to shift the ph to more accitic numbers
Observation ; the plants grow and develop well
Only precaution I am taking is that I plant my seedlings in a mix of sterilized local clay 33%
And sterilized potting earth 66%
Hoping this way to prepare the clones for what’s coming
Wish I could find a way to get serious amounts of organic matter in the soil
So far my best option seems to be adding activated carbon to sequester the many salts and carbonates
