I can get them for you out of Malaysia if you want tubes with paper filters. They run about 12 cents per tube in low volume and can get down to 8 cents to per tube in high volume 100k or more. Shipping is extra.
Maybe if the material was dusted with a little powdered cellulose or something it could be doable?

Have not tried that but it doesn’t sound too appealing. I have a couple ideas on how to make it work but the time it would take to tinker and (maybe) figure it out just isn’t worth it. You’ll still end up with jams and down time inevitably and it’s just much easier to get some knockboxes and incentivized wooks and just put them in cone.
The filters are stupid.

Ahh, I misread that at first and was taken back to back in the day when a little powdered something wasn’t uncommon in the joints.
