So these vevor spice grinders are wonderful little devices but I know many people have issues so try their lids so this was my solution feel free to give your thoughts or rip my idea to shreds so it can then be rebuilt 
The gaskets SUCK, their lid sealing mechanism SUCKS, and they can’t handle any kind of additional pressure created by dry ice or just additional air pressure from the high speed blades.
So below is my attempt to DIY a vent valve while also deleting the stupid head space of the lid that gets absolutely coated in kief and material that is then no longer being blended and is a pain in the ass to clean.
Lining the lid with foam and then a silicon sheet liner that will then all be drilled through from the top of the lid to mount a 1/2" nipple connection to then run a hose to a mason jar that has an in port for the hose and an out port filter to catch any powder shot out.
