Pam Marrone is a very smart agronomist when I spoke with her. Unfortunately, I think they are taking advantage of the “hydro store green tax” here, which is why we have to pay to ship water.

The hydrogen peroxide would be used as a control.to get you through flowering in the event your contending with the problem in flower. So as to not spray anything that will leave a residue and effect the taste. I would not spray Regalia on my flowers . The whole truth faster is that you know have the spores present in your environment. In a Hydro environment your fighting an up hill battle… Consan.Triple Action 20. Floors walls ceilings every surface on everything your fans duct work tools , pumps, trays your plant medium litterally everything. Pay attention to any fresh air in make certain it’s filtered . Build a baffled box and add an ionizer uv bulb or ozone generatorI. I design positive static pressure environments SO my rooms are pushing air out not sucking it in. Making you fresh air in supply ( your push )greater then your exhaust out. (Your Pull) push and pull are are vital to a healthy environment. I’m going to guess that you have an AC set up.and an exhaust on a fart can. But no dedicated fresh air intake fan… If you turn the air in your room 10 times a minute it makes it much more difficult for PM to rake hold. PM loves stagnant environments. The LED lights are not the cause of the PM. The spores arrived as the result of some other contributing factor. They came in on someone’s clothing, infected plant material , unfiltered air entering the garden etc and or something in the area has pm. Go on the hunt outside of you place and inspect all of the surrounding flora . It could be in a neighbor’s yard. If it is tell your neighbor it’s effecting your health that your highly sensitive to mold and fungus spores and they seriously have a negative impact on your health. Be wearing a respirator when you die this. . They will.ptobably remove whatever plant is causing it. Back to the main issue. The PM
has set up and began proliferating as the result of less then ideal garden practices. Hydro gardens should be treated like clean.rooms. All air is controlled and filtered in and out. Garden cleanliness is paramount . With constant cleaning and disinfecting of every surface every hose evey tray every pump the floors the walls everything constantly being kept clean room clean. An I D P M is in.place and worked twice weekly from starting before anything ever enters the rooms. Prepping the rooms by nuking them for MF and Pests is an SOP. If yhour not being surgically clean in your Hydro garden which includes having clothes or a tyvek body suit that you CHANGE into and wear in the garden only including shoes or flip flops. You now know why! your having problems and When problems begin arising in your garden you know why. Every possible avenue of prevention must be traveled. There is no such thing as to much preventative action. I went 20 years never having a bug or fungus problem. Then I got comfortable and lazy and the minute I did problems followed. Do the lights make a difference ? Yes the lights make a difference I can tell you and everyone on here that I have worked with a Chinese manufacturer for 3 years attempting to develope an LED that out performs HID garden lighting and I can tell you it’s not there. I will run HID’s side by side with any LED on the market in a controlled comparison and the HID’s will out produce every time… The problem with LED lights are that they have very narrow specific fixed wavelengths . The fact that they squeeze out a close to equal m/Mol per watt does not mean anything. You power savings are minimal. It will take 5+ plus years to offset the increased cost of the LEDS with your power savings. LED’s simply do not have the intensity necessary to penetrate the canopy. Even though you may be saving money on your power bill you’re losing light intensity in your canopy. Do LEDs run cooler yes they do so you’re saving money in the cooling Department as well. But this usually for a grower equates to less air circulation which leads to powdery mildew… do I think the LEDs have a place in indoor garden presently yes I do in fact I think that you can design erase that are perfect for seedlings and clones and early veg but when it comes to bloom still nothing beats he hid. A combination of ceramic metal halide and HPS bulbs with a couple other spectrums of Light added to those and you have a top-notch indoor lighting system. You know the people that pump up the LEDs are the people selling the LEDs. The reviews on the internet that you read about LEDs are being produced by the companies that manufacture the LEDs. I know this because I’ve been involved with these companies for years now and the story behind the LEDs is push push push them for prophets prophets Prophets. Now for those of you out there the believe in LEDs in like LEDs more power to you please buy up the LEDs we need you to do that so we can continue to develop lights that will work. Because the manufacturers are indeed apartment is funded through their sales department. The very day that LED’s are truly efficient and provide an advanced spectrum in all of the necessary wavelengths the cannabis thrives on. Is the day I will convert my boomerangs to LED. Until that day comes I’ll be using them only for my clone an early veg. Staying on the subject topic the p.m… there’s a number of ways that you can get rid of it they all require constant application and a change however you’re presently conducting your gardening because it’s for that reason that you have the p.m… it’s been my experience in my life then when you ask a question it’s best not to argue with the answers. Are you here to learn something or you here to try to tell people something. If you ask a question be prepared for all the answers. If you want to learn it’s best to keep your ears open and your mouth closed. Because it’s impossible to learn something when you’re talking all the freaking time. I’ve been doing this professionally for over 30 years and a pretty certain at this point I should know what I’m talking about. I’ve provided everything here that you need the correct your problem. The number one way to cure p.m. is prevention you don’t ever let it happen to begin with. When you’re guarding outside that’s a little different story it’s a little more difficult to control but when your gardening indoors you’re completely in control of that. Improve your garden habits improve your cognitive thinking around your garden incorporate the appropriate preventive measures and you won’t have a p.m. problem.

They don’t test them all, I think cootz said 10% maybe(and maybe before he was coot, coots or cootz or anotheroldcoot)
Things on OMRIs site are not organic, they were reviewed to be allowed in og crop production.
Case in point is bone meal and blood meal, from slaughterhouses where gmo fed cows were slaughtered.
Sure there’s some glyohosate in there.
Another is when people try to say “nectar is omri they must be organic” when there’s a salt or 4 in their shits

That’s awesome. I would just make sure the roots are baked in the sun in garbage bags so they don’t spread.
I think a knotweed, comfrey, beet root organic amendment could be locally sourced and make an excellent start-to-finish fertilizer.

I have noticed when spraying regalia on newly rooted cuttings that it will make some of them flower under 24 hour light. Most of them have grown out of that. They now have the single blade leaves that are usually seen on a revegged plant. It doesn’t seem to happen on larger plants.

Was there ever a solid recipe for this that anyone’s used and can report on?
I bought a bunch of chopped roots from Alibaba. I made a syrup and powdered them as a top dress. The plants were super happy. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen powdery mildew in a long while, so I can’t tell if it works for sure. I will attest it makes a nice organic top dress.

Resveratrol is a fantastic ingredient found in Knotweed, but is it the active ingredient that induces SAR? I don’t know.

Sorry to necropost. A friend of mine has antibiotic resistant lyme disease. Knotweed extract and quinine is the only thing that has given her relief.
The root extract is a great preventative. If you want a Regalia clone, do a 2:1 root to alcohol extract. It is mixed at 5% with DI/RO water. 15-30 ml is used in a gallon. It not only enables ISR, but the resveratrol makes for some great plant vigor.

nice info! is this 2:1 ratio made with store bought knotweed extract or made with DIY extract? If DIY extract, how does one make that?

Yeah, Nuherbs has tested root bark chips and powder (no glyphosate!). One part dried root to 2 parts alcohol. Heat it or let it sit to extract for a few weeks. Dilute with water 19:1. Use at 1-2 tbs per gallon.
I found a stand of it in the country, so I’m going to go out with a wood chipper to make some FPJ. I doubt anyone will care if I’m trespassing and digging up knotweed. Mix shredded plant and root material with molasses or brown sugar 2:1 by weight. Let it ferment until the smell goes away. It should have the same effect and double as a fertilizer when root drenched.
