Differences between Brownlee SPP 2.7u C18 and Restek Raptor ARC-18

Im thinking of purchasing a Raptor because it comes so highly regarded especially when it comes to D8/D9 resolution.
I have a brand new Brownlee SPP 2.7u already.
Would the Brownlee work just as well or am I missing something in the details?

Thanks.

Need a bit more information to know for sure. In theory they will be very similar - however, there are many varieties of both vendors C18 type units.

Raptor are made to USP specifications - I don’t know what spec brownlee is made too - I know other things from Perkin Elmer are made to USP though. That would mean the same quality so the differences will be pore size, column length (raptors have more options, IMO) and if the end caps are reusable.

I hated the first time I got something that once it was opened I couldn’t seal it again without rigging it with a bunch of extra fittings and crap. x.X

But really - I think its the pore size and column ID and length that you can really massage with the Raptors that I like the most.

I’d also go with a C18 with appropriate pore size, ID, and length from Agilent.
