I was just asked this. The distillate doesn’t seem to bead up on the ceramic post like it does on glass or stainless

My only knock on these is that they look/feel cheap as fuck to me, and they break. Sometimes just from screwing the mouthpiece on.
The vapor production and the taste are actually great. Just not a huge fan of the breakage and kind of cheap feel. But that’s just my two cents

Are they legit ascent white one or some other AliExpress or dhgate brand? You said “screw” on but these don’t screw on

I recently had only one hole taking in oil on the ones you gave me. Then the coil got burnt out and it tastes like shit how. I noticed large air pocket develop over one of the intake hole when this happened.
I personally loved the ones you gave me until I left it on my pocket it turned on and leaked all over the place.

I actually don’t think they were legit, now that you say that, because that oval aperture is badass and the ones we got did not have that.

They were samples from an American distributor so honestly I am not 100% sure on the manufacturer.
So there is just one oval aperture on them then??
Dirty birds, haven’t had any leaks yet. I did get one burnout just like you described left in the pocket on. For some reason they only draw from one of the Oval holes. 
Yeah, the ones with the round holes seem to be the knockoffs.

Maybe they changed their design recently to the press fit? So far no recalls or issues on my ascent carts

They kinda press, then screw on. But never tighten.
Out of my 10 testers, 0 leaked so far while inverted in my Mason storage jar.

I haven’t had any problems at all. I thought I had one not hitting right. Then I adjusted the contact on the bottom and it ripped away. I also realized that’s what I needed to do with the others so they work on my draw and pull batteries.

@Ascent Do you know why only one of the Oval holes are “breathing” ? I might break on empty and take a closer look.

Tbh I love them but, if the center post was slightly smaller or where the oval was have reccess cut out it would allow for thicker oil to always stay loaded at the oval coil at all times.
This should be the issue of creramic post comes out from mold but one of the intake hole block off. Does it affect while hitting?
