How are all of you determining the ethanol/oil ratio you have in order to winterize. I know it’s to be between 5-10:1 but once you’ve done a wash and you have your slurry how do determine how much more ethanol to put in to achieve your desired ratio.
Usually I am taking ethanol out to get it to winterize so fats will come out of solution.
So Rotovaping down just a bit based on viscosity and then winterizing. It just needs to flow well enough to filter at winterization temperatures.
